Micheline Star chef Daniel draws upon his unique experience and passion to share his love of food at 190 Queens Gate at The Gore Hotel in Kensington.  Daniel has created a unique menu showcasing his authentic French cuisine with a British twist and locally sourced ingredients.  It's the perfect combination for The Gore.

These are some of the many qualities that Michelin Star chef, Daniel Galmiche brings to 190 Queens Gate.  Daniel draws upon his unique experience and passion to share his love of food and authentic French/Mediterranean cooking and is passionate about using ingredients from local and sustainable sources.  

He is a regular quest chef on BBC 1's Saturday Kitchen, and has written a regular column for various publications as well as his first book, The French Brasserie Cookbook, Successfully published in September 2011, and now selling in 11 countries in 6 different languages. His latest book, Revolutionary French Cooking was published May 2014.


The Gore for culture aficionados is probably one of the most ideally situated properties being 100 meters from the Royal Albert Hall, Royal College of Arts and the Albert Memorial. It also happens to be one of London's oldest hotels, opened by two sisters in 1892 who were direct descendants of Captain Cook no less.

The restaurant, 190 Queen's Gate by Daniel Galmiche has long held a reputation for being a great intimate bistro location. But now it has upped its game by featuring a unique menu from dynamic Michelin star chef, Daniel Galmiche and a BBC1's Saturday Kitchen regular which showcases his authentic French cuisine with a British twist. The menu is perfect for The Gore - fresh ingredients, rustic charm, classical: with contemporary twist. 

Bar 190 is always worthy of a mention for its subtle, brooding elegance for soirees and for being the location of the Rolling Stones "Beggars Banquet" album launch in 1968.

This year it is Pink Floyd's turn to be in the spotlight at The Gore, with a new delectable and glamorous afternoon tea inspired by the opening of "The Pink Floyd Exhibition: Their Mortal Remains" at The Victoria and Albert Museum.
