In the heart of Theatreland, 28-50 Covent Garden is the face of the St Martin's Courtyard dining quarter. Hand-picked wine lists curated by passionate in-house sommeliers, this big-sister of the famous Marylebone brasserie features a plethora of accessible and high-end wines by the glass - some exclusive in the UK (such as the Chateau de Candie from the restaurant's own vineyard in the Alps). Menu is from Julien Baris, doing what he does best – simple, seasonal modern European cuisine, cooked from scratch on the premises, and of course, steaks, big and juicy, and lots of seafood.
Design by Richard Green fuses 28-50's acclaimed no-nonsense wine-workshop style with more than a nod to all-things bling, featuring bubblegum pink and sky-blue velvet armchairs at every table. 3 dining rooms, a connoisseurs wine-bar, an extravagant champagne bar and a killer soundtrack make 28-50 Covent Garden is a must for a night of relaxed fun with good food and wine.
